Spare Some Change, Make a Change!

From November 4–15, 2013, students will be collecting change in support of the WASD Education Foundation’s Return to Glory Capital Campaign to raise $3.5 million to restore and update Williamsport Area High School's aging athletic complex. To date, more than $1.5 million has been raised toward this goal. The plans for modernizing our athletic facilities include installation of a new all-weather turf field in the current stadium, along with construction of a new complex for track-and-field sports.
Beginning Monday, November 4th, teachers in our elementary and intermediate schools will collect donations of loose change from students and their families to support the campaign.
Donations by check, made payable to WASD Education Foundation are also welcome, and are tax-deductible.
The grade that raises the most money in each school will win an ice cream sandwich party.
